Ye have indeed in the Apostle of Allah a beautiful pattern of (conduct) for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day and who engages much in the praise of Allah. (Al-Ahzab) Out of the three hundred and thirteen Sahaba (radhiyAllahu ‘anhum) who participated in the Battle of Badr, fourteen were blessed with the rank of shuhadaa (martyred). Below are the names of those illustrious Sahaba (radhiyAllahu ‘anhum) [2]:A comprehensive work based principally on authentic narrations, unaffected by objections of orientalist scholars.
