This one might be cheating a little but it's just too good not to include! Published by Sega for the Sega Dreamcast in 1999, Space Channel 5 is an incredibly unique rhythm game in which players control a space-faring reporter named Ulala. I have tried my (I must admit) VeggieTales USB dance mat with it out of desperation, and it didn't work at all. Not sure if that's because it's only for PC or not, but I felt I had to try. This dance game not only brings on the gameplay dancing gamers are used to but also adds elements of story and strategy. Slay The Dance Floor adds even more content to the original release while keeping the whimsy and RPG elements the original was known for.

The original Dance Dance Revolution for the PlayStation One is undeniably one of the best games on the console. The game was originally known as Dancing Stage in Europe and absolutely pioneered the dancing game genre in numerous territories across the globe.Endurance mode encompasses playing through the five licensed songs on the game, or an entire CD from the user's collection. That's a DE-15 connector, the same kind as used with VGA cables, but it's not a VGA connector. VGA cables only carry analogue video, they're not used to connect any sort of controller. Your dance pad has a proprietary connector that happens to have same shape as VGA connector, but serves a much difference purpose and isn't compatible. Any VGA to USB adapter you might find would essentially be a capture card. Connecting your dance pad to such a device would be as useful as connecting your pad to a computer monitor or video card. These dancemats are compatible with Playstation and Playstation2 consoles sold worldwide (PAL/JAP/USA version).

(Physically, I know that's the problem here.)
